George Robert White Environmental Conservation Center at Boston Nature Center

The Boston Nature Center is the greenest municipal building in Boston and is a great place to hold your next event. We offer a unique and natural setting for birthday parties, social events, meetings and public programs. Tours of the building, as well as special programs, can be arranged. Our facilities are sure to make your next event memorable.

Types of Functions: Birthday parties, social events, meetings, private functions and public programs.

Maximum Capacity: George Robert White Environmental Conservation Center and Education Building (GRWECC)- Hayden Classroom I and II holds (individually) 40 seated adults without tables and 25 with tables. Hayden Classroom I and II can be joined to hold 80 seated adults without tables and 50 with tables. Resource Room holds 40 seated adults without tables and 25 with tables. Education Building- Program Room A holds 40 seated adults without tables and 25 with tables. Program Room B holds 15 seated adults without tables and 10 with tables.

Availability: All year. Weekdays 9am-5pm and weekends and holidays, 10am-4pm. After hours and special tours/programs may be possible.

Rates: $500 for a full-day (over four hours) or $250 for a half-day (under four hours). Discounts may be available for community groups. Please call for details.

Food Storage/Prep: Non-commercial kitchen; refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave.

Parking: 70 cars at the GRWECC and 10 cars at the Education Building.

A/V Equipment: A/V equip, drop down screen, white/blackboard.

Additional Amenities: 2.5 miles of nature trails, outside garden, amphitheater and patio.

Please note: No smoking inside or outside the building. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the premises.
