Lincoln Woods Wildlife Sanctuary
Follow the sanctuary’s trail system
through these mature woodlands
and note six vernal pools where
salamanders, snakes, ducks, and
other interesting wildlife may be
seen. Occasionally, deer and
turkeys have been spotted at the
sanctuary, so keep your eyes open
for them.

Trail Hours:
Trails open every day, dawn to dusk.
- For Your Safety
- Do not feed any animals
- Stay on trails to avoid ticks and poison ivy
- Do not smoke anywhere on the sanctuary
- Do not pick or collect plants or crops without permission
- Avoid Conflicts with Wildlife
- Do not bring pets, leashed or unleashed, on to the site
- Picnic only in designated areas
- Do not bring motorized vehicles or bicycles onto the site
- Hunting, fishing, or trapping are not permitted
Admission:
$3 for nonmember adults;
$2 for nonmember children (3-12)
and seniors
Directions:
Take Rt 2 to Rt 12 (exit 31A).
Follow Rt 12 south for 1.5 miles
through Leominster Center. Take
a left at City Square onto Central
Street (continuation of Rt 12).
Just beyond the intersection of
Rt 12 and Rt 117, turn right off
Rt 12 onto Union Street. The
sanctuary is 0.7 miles ahead on
the left, marked by a Mass
Audubon sign.
