School and Group Programs

Moose Hill is a unique sanctuary that has expanded educational opportunities offered at your site or ours in any season. Winter programs include Native American Life, Maple Sugaring, Technology of Sugaring and Tracking. Our trained teacher-naturalists love to share their sense of wonder in and knowledge of the natural world with children of all ages. We try to maintain a ratio of one naturalist to 12 participants on outdoor explorations. Field trip programs may explore the varied habitats of fields, forests, vernal pools, red maple swamps and hilltops. Due to our large system of trails and boardwalks we can serve up to 110 participants for some programs.

Our education staff is available by phone or e-mail to assist both teacher and students with any natural history questions.

Visit Moose Hill—For naturalist-led, hands-on learning.
