Summer Camp Wild at Art Summer Camp Wild at Art Summer Camp combines art, nature and fun in a safe, nurturing environment.
The Visual Arts Center’s 138-acre wildlife sanctuary and family-friendly art museum offer a unique set of resources for campers. Each day children explore the fields, forest and wetlands with hands-on activities and nature games, making their own discoveries. Imagination and creativity are encouraged with art activities inspired by their outdoor experiences. Non-competitive games and free-choice activities are included every day. Each week focuses on a particular theme (e.g., 3-D Discovery or PaperPalooza) and culminates in an art exhibit for friends and family. Programs are offered for children ages 5-11.
Our camp meets the standards of both the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the American Camping Association. The camp director has more than 10 years experience teaching hands-on natural history and art to children. Our small staff-to-camper ratio and caring staff help to ensure a safe, high-quality camp experience for your child. *Requires a PDF reader. Download Adobe Reader.
